After all the paper documentation was done and I got accepted and my visa approved, I got a student buddy assigned to me. A student buddy is a person that takes care of you in the first days and helps you with accommodation. I was the luckiest person in this world because my student buddy is like a brother to me now! He helped me even before I came to Brazil with accommodation so I have found a place easily and close to the university. My flatmates are very nice as well. And all the people I meet here are very friendly and want to talk to foreigners (if they know how to speak English).
